To farm Azeroot more efficiently, use a character setup that improves gathering speed, survivability, and material yield.

A Druid is one of the best classes for herb farming because of instant Flight Form. This lets you move quickly between nodes, and Druids can gather herbs without leaving flight form, which saves a lot of time during long farming sessions.

A Tauren is also a strong choice for Herbalism because Cultivation gives extra Herbalism skill and faster gathering speed. This makes Tauren one of the best races for herb farming, especially when combined with Druid mobility.

Using a tank spec is another good trick for farming. The extra durability helps when pulling mobs around herb nodes, and it reduces the chance that enemies slow you down during your route. For mob-heavy areas, players also prioritize gathering speed tools and buffs to avoid getting interrupted too often.

For profession gear, use Midnight Herbalism equipment and focus on Finesse on your tool. Finesse increases your chance to gather extra materials, which makes every Azeroot node more valuable. Midnight Herbalism gear is specifically useful because profession equipment in Midnight boosts Herbalism skill and secondary gathering stats like Finesse, Perception, and Deftness.

You should also enchant your herbalism tool with Haranir Finesse. This gives more Finesse and improves your chance to collect extra herbs from each node.

For consumables use:
-Argentleaf Tea for extra gathering value during longer sessions.
-Haranir Phial of Finesse to further increase Finesse.
-Darkmoon Firewater when you want more Deftness, which helps you gather faster.
-Refulgent Razorstone as an additional buff for your gathering tool during farming sessions.
